[Ho Chi Minh City, May 2025] As ESG becomes an irreversible trend shaping the future of responsible business, many companies are still grappling with a common challenge: how to move beyond declarations and reports to turn ESG into real, tangible action.
At the Vietnam ESG Investor Conference, held from May 13 to 14, the answer came not from a keynote speech or a printed agenda, but from the way the event was thoughtfully designed and executed. ESG was not just talked about. It was lived, experienced, and embedded in the smallest details of the event, starting with something as simple as sorting waste properly.
The event was co-hosted by Raise Partners and Vietnam Innovators Digest by Vietcetera, with technical advisory from Green Transition Asia. ECO Solutions Vietnam was honored to serve as the official waste management partner. Working closely with the team at New World Saigon Hotel, ECO Solutions helped implement a fully operational on-site waste sorting system tailored to the venue and scale of the conference.

Rather than simply placing a few sorting bins with labels, the Waste Station was intentionally designed to engage people. ECO Solutions team members were present throughout the event, guiding participants on how to sort their waste correctly and explaining why each action matters in the context of sustainable operations. Guests were encouraged to pause, ask questions, and think about the bigger picture behind a seemingly routine gesture.
What followed was more than expected. Attendees began asking thoughtful, practical questions. Could this model be applied in their offices? What resources would be needed to set up a similar system? Is it scalable for internal events or community campaigns?

These conversations marked a significant shift from passive awareness to active interest. When an event makes people not only listen but reflect, inquire, and engage, that’s when ESG becomes real. The questions were not just technical. They signaled a willingness to take ownership and explore new standards of responsibility.
The success of this initiative relied on seamless coordination among many teams. From the event operations unit at Vietcetera, the hospitality staff at New World Saigon, to the ESG experts at Green Transition Asia, and the implementation team from ECO Solutions, each played a critical role in ensuring the system ran smoothly and the message was delivered clearly. It was this collective commitment that transformed ESG from a headline into a lived experience.

For ECO Solutions Vietnam, this project was more than just providing a service. It was a demonstration of how ESG truly works—starting with small, intentional actions that shift perspectives, create dialogue, and inspire long-term change.
